July Rate Increase
Learn what the new rates are, effective July 10, 2022 and how to determine what impact it will have on your operation. Not all increases are created equally!
The content will provide a background about USPS finances, the rate setting process, and the drivers for the pending increase. It will also examine the specific changes for First-Class and Marketing Mail, and how mail producers and their clients can position themselves to deal with both the July rate change and those in the future.
Our presenter, Leo Raymond is Managing Director of Mailers Hub, an information resource for commercial mail producers and other companies in the commercial mailing community. His expertise draws from five decades’ experience in postal affairs and related mailing issues.
He previously was Director, Postal and Member Engagement, for Idealliance, based in Alexandria, Virginia; before that, he was VP for Postal and Member Relations for legacy Epicomm and its predecessor associations. In those positions, he represented the associations at USPS Headquarters, served the associations’ members nationwide regarding general postal questions, mailing problems, and related government issues, and supported the associations’ chapter- and conference-based educational programs.
Steve Colella will also be giving us an update on what’s been going on with MTAC
Steve is Vice President Postal Affairs for The Calmark Group. Mr. Colella has been involved with MTAC for over 25 years, and has served as the industry lead for the Emerging Technology & Product Innovation Focus Group. He currently serves on the MSMA National Board of Directors
